Cinemystery: Untitled Patrick Lee Thriller Optioned for Film

Last fall Patrick Lee's The Breach, the first book in a trilogy featuring ex-con/ex-cop Travis Chase, was optioned for film. Now we're learning (via Deadline) that the first book in a new trilogy of thrillers by the author has also been optioned … even though the untitled book has yet to be published. Justin Lin (Fast and Furious) is attached to direct for Warner Bros.

Little is known about the book other than the lead character, ex-operative Sam Dryden, is "on a journey to keep [a mysterious young girl] safe from a powerful government agent intent on hunting her down."
