In news we clearly missed from early this year, Stylist Magazine has been holding a competition to "search for a crime fiction star". The UK magazine teamed up with publisher Faber and Faber to find a debut author of a crime novel featuring a female protagonist. And the results were announced today.
Kate Griffin of St. Albans won for her book, Kitty Peck and The Music Hall Murders.
You can read an excerpt from the book on the Stylist website.
