May is upfronts month for network television — and yesterday we reported on what's new, renewed, and canceled at ABC and CBS.
In this post, we'll take a look at what's happening at Fox.
New for the 2015/2016 Season:
The Frankenstein Code — Ray Pritchard (Rob Kazinsky and Philip Baker Hall in a dual role), a morally corrupt retired cop, is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. Now younger and stronger, Pritchard will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose.
Houdini and Doyle — Two of the great characters of the 20th century — Houdini, master magician, escape artist and paranormal debunker, and Doyle, creator of the world's greatest detective and a paranormal aficionado — grudgingly join forces to investigate crimes with a supernatural slant. Although they're both rich, famous and brilliant, they're the original odd couple, with Houdini believing in nothing, Doyle in everything. (This was a direct-to-series order.)
Luther — Based on the BBC series of the same title and centered on John Luther, a near-genius murder detective whose brilliant mind can't always save him from the dangerous violence of his passions. Note: This series order is cast-contingent.
Minority Report — Based on the film of the same title, the story picks up ten years after the end of Precrime in D.C., when one of the three Precogs struggles to lead a "normal" human life, but remains haunted by visions the future, when he meets a detective haunted by her past, who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.
Renewed:
Bones (11th season).
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (3rd season).
Sleepy Hollow (3rd season).
Canceled:

Grace Smith, Private Investigator, is on the case again. She has been tasked with finding the author of anonymous threats to Jonathon Black, an-out of-work addict married to the ruthlessly ambitious TV star Clemency Courtney — but Jonathon and Clemency don't know that Jonathon's mother hired her, and Grace has to go undercover. Posing as their slightly incompetent gardener, she uses every opportunity to snoop around for clues and insert herself into the family's life. Grace discovers plenty of people with motives to hurt Clemency, but no suspects for a grudge against Jonathan. So who is sending the vicious threats, and why?
Grace's life gets a lot more complicated when the infuriating yet alluring O'Hara shows up, asking for her help with another of his dead brother's old cases and making Grace wonder if she has the strength to resist O'Hara's charms again. The pair of them are investigating the fourteen-year-old disappearance of Heidi Walkinshaw, a young girl who was snatched on her paper route one morning and never seen again. The police's one suspect in Heidi's abduction, Leslie Higgins, was murdered during the investigation, and O'Hara has returned to set right some serious wrongs in the original case.
While Grace tries to expose both the poison pen and discover what really happened to Heidi, she finds her life in danger from someone desperate to stop her uncovering the truth …

The Fall by John Lescroart, New in Bookstores during May 2015
Today's featured new hardcover mystery, suspense, or thriller title scheduled to be published during May 2015 is …
The Fall by John Lescroart, A Novel of Suspense
Publisher: Atria Books
Late one night, a teenage African American foster child named Tanya Morgan plummets to her death from the overpass above San Francisco's Stockton tunnel. But did she fall … or was she pushed?
Rushing to produce a convictable suspect in the glare of the media spotlight, homicide inspectors focus their attention on a naïve young man named Greg Treadway. Greg is a middle school teacher and he volunteers as a Special Advocate for foster children. At first, the only thing connecting him to Tanya's death is the fact that they shared a meal earlier that night. But soon enough, elements of that story seem to fall apart … and Hardy's daughter, Rebecca, finds herself drawn into the young man's defense.
By the time Greg's murder trial gets underway, Dismas and Rebecca have unearthed several other theories about the crime: a missing stepfather who'd sexually assaulted her; a roommate who ran a call girl service; a psychologically unstable birth mother; and a mysterious homeless man who may have had dealings with Tanya. Or Greg Treadway himself, who is perhaps not all that he first appeared. But how will they get these theories in front of a jury? And if they can, what price will they have to pay?
— The Fall by John Lescroart

Telemystery News: New, Renewed, and Canceled at CBS
May is upfronts month for network television — and yesterday we reported on what's new, renewed, and canceled at ABC.
In this post, we'll focus our attention on what's happening at CBS.
New for the 2015/2016 Season:
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders — FBI agents help American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad. Heading the operation is Jack Garrett (Gary Sinese), a 20-year veteran of the Bureau, who is currently in charge of the FBI's top team for handling cases involving Americans abroad. A back-door pilot aired on February 8th as an episode of Criminal Minds.
Limitless — After Brian Sinclair (Jake McDorman) discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT, he is coerced into using his newfound drug-enhanced abilities to solve weekly cases for the FBI. Based on the 2011 film of the same title, which starred Bradley Cooper.
Rush Hour — A by-the-book Hong Kong police officer (Jon Foo) is assigned to a case in Los Angeles, where he's forced to work with a cocky black LAPD officer (Justin Hires) who has no interest in a partner. Based on the film of the same title, which starred Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
Zoo — An adaptation of James Patterson's thriller that will air this Summer.
CBS hasn't yet officially announced for most of its series which will be renewed, but here's our best guess based on what we've heard:
Blue Bloods (almost certain to be renewed for a 6th season).
Criminal Minds (likely to be renewed for an 11th season).
CSI (looks iffy for a 16th season).
CSI: Cyber (looks iffy for a 2nd season).
Elementary (almost certain to be renewed for a 4th season).
Hawaii Five-0 (almost certain to be renewed for a 6th season).
NCIS: Los Angeles (likely to be renewed for a 7th season).
NCIS: New Orleans (2nd season).
Person of Interest (almost certain to be renewed for a 5th season).
Scorpion (2nd season).
Canceled (and likely to be Canceled):
Battle Creek (after 1 season).
The Mentalist (after 7 seasons).
NCIS (not official, but almost certain to be canceled after 12 seasons).
Unforgettable (after 3 seasons, but will return on A&E).

Publisher: Adventure Ink

Outsmarting the crime syndicate is a risky business, but Romeo Moore is determined that Marcel "Moses" Brown will answer to the racketeering, conspiracy and assault charges against him — even if they can't prosecute him for the drug trafficking and murders that he's masterminded.
In Quantico, Virginia, Romeo Moore threatens to deport criminal Rory "Rufus" Colton back to Jamaica — where he will have no protection from the mob — if he doesn't become an informant. In the choice between deportation and protective custody, Rufus agrees to turn on the mob on one condition: the FBI must save the life of his brother, Kenneth Colton, who is the bookkeeper for the don — and who would be a valuable witness in the FBI's case against Brown.
But Rufus is a danger to himself and to everyone around him. He's a man who knows too much — including people's real identities — and Romeo has to keep him alive.
Meanwhile, in Jamaica, West Kingston is a war zone. When a travel advisory is issued on the island because of a heated gunfire exchange, the don tells Ken to get a million dollars in cash ready for a pick-up.
When Romeo Moore has to provide protection for Rufus, this puts him in the line of fire with the Jamaican mob. Can he keep Rufus safe and rescue Ken so they can both testify … and without getting himself killed?

And thanks to an incredible discovery in the Arctic, those enemies now have a nuke — capable of unleashing unthinkable terror.
To hunt down the devastating package before it can be used, Kealey forms an unlikely partnership with the young Farsi-speaking nuclear physicist Rayhan Jafari.
