Winners of the 2016 CrimeFest Awards and the Petrona Award Announced

Mystery, Suspense and Thriller Book Awards

The winners of the 2016 CrimeFest Awards were announced this weekend at the annual international crime fiction convention in Bristol (UK).

And they are …

• Sounds of Crime (for best audiobook): The Girl on the Train by Paul Hawkins; Read by Clare Corbett (Random House Audio)

• Last Laugh (for best humorous crime novel): Bryant & May and the Burning Man by Christopher Fowler (Transworld)

• eDunnit (for best crime fiction ebook): The Crossing by Michael Connelly (Orion)

• H.R.F Keating Award (for best biographical or critical book): The Golden Age of Murder by Martin Edwards (HarperCollins)

Also announced was the winner of the 2016 Petrona Award for Best Scandinavian Crime Novel translated into English: The Caveman (Hulemannen) by Jørn Lier Horst (Norway).
