• Best First Crime Novel: The Unquiet Dead by Ausma Zehanat Khan (Minotaur Books)
• Best Crime Novel in French: L'Affaire Myosotis by Luc Chartrand (Quebec Amerique)
• Best Crime Non-Fiction: Empire of Deception by Dean Jobb (HarperCollins)
• Best Juvenile/Young Adult Crime Book: Trouble is a Friend of Mine by Stephanie Tromly (Kathy Dawson Books)
• Best Crime Short Story: "The Avocado Kid" by Scott Mackay (Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine)
• Best Unpublished First Novel, the "Unhanged Arthur": When the Flood Falls by Jayne Barnard
• Best Novella: Black Canyon by Jeremy Bates (Ghillinnein Books)
