Review: The Five O'Clock Ghost by Dori Hillestad Butler

Mysterious Reviews: Reviews of New Mysteries, Novels of Suspense, and Thrillers

A Mysterious Review of The Five O'Clock Ghost by Dori Hillestad Butler. The Haunted Library Series.

Review summary: This is a charming story with a well-structured mystery, though one with a solution that almost certainly will be far too obscure for today's generation of children. Even so, this is a generally enjoyable book with an engaging cast of characters for readers aged 6 to 8 (Lexile measure 530L). (Click here for text of full review.)
