May is upfronts month for network television, and we're already way behind in reporting what's new, renewed, and canceled.
We'll start with ABC in this post and continue through the remaining networks in subsequent posts.
New for the 2015/2016 Season:
The Catch — A thriller about a woman about to get married and about to get conned. Unbeknownst to her slippery fiancé, a forensic accountant (played by Mireille Enos) is not all she claims to be. And when the fiancé's expertly planned con collides with her perfectly constructed lies, they plunge into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
The Family — The return of a politician's young son who was presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier sends shockwaves through their tightknit community. But as the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his community, the neighbor sitting in jail for his murder is released and the cop responsible is forced to re-examine what truly happened so many years ago. Stars Joan Allen as the politician.
Quantico — A group of young FBI recruits, all with specific reasons for joining, battle their way through training at the Quantico base in Virginia. From their hidden pasts and their present training to the near future, one of the recruits will turn out to be a sleeper terrorist responsible for the most devastating terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11.
Wicked City — A character-driven, "true-crime" procedural explores sex, politics and popular culture across various noteworthy eras in Los Angeles history. In this first season, two L.A. cops search for a serial-killing team amidst the coke-infused rock 'n' roll revelry of the 1980s Sunset Strip.

You forgot to add Forever to the canceled list. That one really hurts. Judging by the responses on lne to this news people watched and enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteNot surprised about the cancellation of Revenge. The 1st season was terrific, but after that it just became banal.
