New Teaser Poster for Supernatural Thriller Horns, Adapted from the Novel by Joe Hill

A new teaser poster has been released by Lionsgate for the supernatural thriller Horns (right; click for larger image). The tagline: "Is this the face of The Devil?"

This film, long completed and awaiting distribution, is finally being released this year. (The image on the poster is actually taken from a promotional photo released in 2012.)

Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe) is accused for the violent rape and killing of his girlfriend, Merrin Williams (Juno Temple). After a hard night of drinking, Ig awakens, hungover, to find horns growing out of his head; they have the ability to drive people to confess sins and give in to selfish impulses. Ig decides to use this effective tool to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend’s death and to seek revenge by finding the true murderer.

Directed by Alexandre Aja from an adapted screenplay by Keith Bunin and based on the novel of the same title by Joe Hill, Horns opens in theaters October 31, 2014.
