Barbary Coast
The Complete Series
William Shatner stars as Jeff Cable, an undercover agent patrolling the wild streets of 1880s San Francisco, in this entertaining, if also short-lived, ABC series that aired in Fall 1975. Filled with casinos and saloons, this bustling slice of post–Gold Rush California runs on corruption, greed, and violence. It's Agent Cable's job to crack down on the numerous criminals who have made a home there.
Even top public officials can't be trusted, so Cable weaves elaborate ruses to uncover the Barbary Coast's many plots. He also relies on the slick but beleaguered Cash Conover (Doug McClure … but played by Dennis Cole in the pilot), proprietor of the Golden Gate Casino. Conover reluctantly puts his business and well-being on the line for Cable time and again. The charismatic pair often find the cards stacked against them, but that doesn't stop them from having a rollicking good time as they police a town mired in vigilante justice.

The Glades
Season Four
This fourth — and final — season of the A&E series is packed with even more mystery, intrigue and fun from Florida's favorite homicide investigator, the disarmingly charming Detective Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore).
From haunted plantations to rum-soaked shot girls and even a zombie apocalypse, Longworth is once again solving murders that can only happen in the Sunshine State.
This season also promises more drama on the personal front for Longworth, Carlos, Colleen and Daniel as friends and relatives from near and far arrive on the scene. But the big question remains to be answered as Longworth waits for Callie to accept his marriage proposal … or not.

True Blood
Season Six
HBO's sexy, scary, wildly entertaining series based on the Sookie Stackhouse, Southern Vampire novels by Charlaine Harris, returns for a sixth season. In addition to returning characters led by human/faerie hybrid Sookie (Anna Paquin), her unlikely vampire ally Eric (Alexander Skarsgård), and newly reconstituted supervamp Bill (Stephen Moyer), Season 6 6 introduces several jarring storylines that threaten what little sense of normalcy remains in and around Bon Temps.
As "Billith" comes to terms with his newfound powers after emerging from a pool of blood, Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) declares open season on vampires, replete with novel anti-vamp weapons and a high-tech internment camp.
Meanwhile, Sookie and Jason steel themselves for an encounter with the killer of their parents: the mysterious and ancient Warlow, whose identity remains a troubling mystery as the season unfolds.
