Arne Dahl
Season One
This Swedish series based on characters created by crime novelist Arne Dahl is centered on the "A" Unit, an elite force of officers recruited after a series of assassinations rocks Stockholm's high society. The detectives have been hand-picked by police commander Jenny Hultin, who intentionally gathers people from different backgrounds with very different strengths.
The crimes they solve are brutal and sometimes horrifying, but always sophisticated, with complex riddles and cunning perpetrators from all levels of society. The cases require specialized input from everyone in the unit, and bring them all into a race against time that they only sometimes win.
In Swedish with English subtitles.

But their investigation will uncover shocking secrets and relentless danger that neither of them could possibly have imagined.
The second season of this series premieres on July 9th, 2014.

Jack Taylor
Set Two
Iain Glen stars as Jack Taylor, a former cop turned private investigator with little to show for his time in the Irish Guards but his old police overcoat. Few of his former colleagues have any regard for Taylor, who looks more like the people they arrest every day than one of their own. The exception is his friend Garda Kate Noonan (Nora-Jane Noone), though even she has to walk a fine line between helping Taylor and irritating her boss.
Six months sober, Taylor takes on cases with the help of his young assistant Cody (Killian Scott), even while he worries about his elderly mother, who has suffered a stroke. Try as he might, the ex-cop from Galway finds that in his hometown, his past is always just a mistake away.
Based on a character created by crime novelist Ken Bruen, this set includes three feature-length mysteries based on his books in the series: The Dramatist, Priest, and The Killing of the Tinkers (retitled "Shot Down" for the series).

But Sorenson's arrival is just one of many explosive events in the sixth season of this ABC police procedural which will ensure that the 15th Precinct can never be the same again.

Unforgettable
Season Two
The second season of this CBS drama moves to Manhattan! Detective Carrie Wells (Poppy Montgomery) and her partner/former boyfriend Detective Al Burns (Dylan Walsh) start their new jobs in the prolific and high-risk NYPD Major Crimes division — all under the watchful eye of the Mayor and his right-hand man, Eliot Delson (Dallas Roberts).
This season, there's a deadly international assassin in New York with a nuclear bomb, a serial killer who collects wedding rings, and a group of terrorists who hack into the NYPD systems and take an entire party hostage. It's all-new territory for Carrie but with her secret weapon — a rare ability to remember everything she's ever seen or experienced — it's nothing she can't handle.

Reidar Sørensen stars as Cato Isaksen in this Norwegian crime drama based on a character created by Unni Lindell. He performs superbly at work while his personal life, on a good day, resembles barely-managed chaos. Careening between significant others and keeping up with three young sons by two different mothers, Cato tries his best to do right by all the players.
Cato's crack team of cops are all used to his quirks: his wisecracking lieutenant Roger Høibakk, the brilliant and intuitive Randi Johansen, and the solid and dependable veteran Asle Tengs. Investigations take him the length and breadth of Oslo: from the magnificent fjords and spectacular mountains surrounding the city, to the darkest backstreets of the Norwegian capital.
To get relief from the job, Cato finds solace in time alone with his faithful cat, Marmalade, and grows to cherish the time spent with his children — even if he does keep canceling family vacations on account of work!
In Norwegian with English subtitles.
