Private investigator Mark Harrow, just home from his honeymoon, receives only the second call of his short career to investigate a gruesome murder. The solicitation comes from a prominent attorney, Edmond Jarvis, whose wife has been shot and killed. Then, a Jarvis relative convinces Harrow to carry on.
What ensues is a whirlwind adventure into intrigue that involves forming an alliance with Israel's Mossad and uncovering a conspiracy on the part of a powerful US Senator — as well as Edmond Jarvis — to secretly fund terrorists. Clever investigating and a good deal of luck lead Harrow to a surprising conclusion and an unexpected perpetrator.
