A Mysterious Review of Death of a Policeman by M. C. Beaton. A Hamish Macbeth Mystery.
Review summary: Probably the most compelling element of this murder mystery is that as the end of the book nears, it isn't clear whodunit, or even whydunit. Still, the journey taken includes so many twists and turns that it actually gets a little tiresome. Entertaining for fans of the series, but possibly not the best introduction to it.
