Telemystery: NBC Orders The Mysteries of Laura to Pilot

Back in August we reported that NBC was putting into development an adaptation of the Spanish comedy crime drama Los Misterios de Laura, which aired for three seasons. The storyline is centered on a female homicide detective, who like any other woman must balance her career with her personal life. She is a brilliant police inspector who, after her recent divorce, must face complicated cases and also take charge of two small potential criminals: her children.

Now we are learning the network has ordered a pilot for the series, titled The Mysteries of Laura and written by Jeff Rake. No cast has been announced yet.
