With scant resources, the Exodus Police Department quickly deputizes a reluctant Blake Bardane as lead homicide investigator on the case.

A pattern in the murders becomes apparent when all the wealthy, female victims appear to be on the exact same client list of the plastic surgeon, Dr. Svidi Malhotra. As an act of revenge for his wife's role in the sex tape, the physician is thought to be the homicidal maniac who has set out to undo, or "reverse" his client's surgical enhancements by "skinning the cat". But not all is as it seems.

All the pieces fall neatly into place until Blake discovers a suspect with far clearer motives materializes much closer to home. The unexpected twist throws Blake and his kids in for the fight of their lives.
