Review: Chilled To the Bone by Quentin Bates

Mysterious Reviews: Reviews of New Mysteries, Novels of Suspense, and Thrillers

A Mysterious Review of Chilled To the Bone by Quentin Bates. A Gunnhildur Gísladóttir Mystery.

Review summary: It is a little tricky to navigate this crime novel at first, what with the large cast of characters and the rapidly changing points of view setting up the various subplots. But it does move along quickly, and while there are plenty of false leads and dead-end paths, the storylines do start to merge, resulting in a nicely complex, very satisfying mystery.
