This week's Amazon TV Deal of the Week is the first season of Homeland.
In the opening season of this suspense thriller, CIA operative Carrie Mathison (played by Claire Danes) suspects that US Marine sniper Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), a former prisoner of war held captive by al-Qaeda, may now be a threat to national security.
Homeland Season 1 was honored with many of the top Emmy Awards in 2012, winning for Best Drama, Lead Actress in a Drama, Lead Actor in a Drama, and writing for a drama (for the pilot).
