A&E has canceled The Glades after four seasons. It was the first scripted series ordered by the cable network that lasted multiple seasons.
We have to admit we stopped watching after the second season. We felt the series had lost its way by then, with scripts focusing more on Detective Jim Longworth's romantic issues than the off-beat crimes he was called upon to solve.

I just discovered the show over the summer. It ended on a cliffhanger. Once again a show ends with no closure. I'm still upset about CBS Golden Boy.
