Two crime dramas begin their new seasons tomorrow on A&E.
At 9 PM ET/PT is the fourth season premiere of The Glades. In an episode titled "Yankee Dan", when the dead body of an heiress is found in a haunted plantation house, Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore) must delve into a 150-year-old ghost story to solve the murder.
Then at 10 PM ET/PT the second season premiere of Longmire airs. In an episode titled "Unquiet Mind", after a prison transfer goes awry, Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) urgently pursues a serial killer and his fellow escapees, who have taken hostages up a mountain. Facing an impending storm with very limited resources, Walt's mettle is put to the test. Hypothermic hallucinations force him to face his past. (Though not specifically referenced, it is likely that this episode is based in part on Hell Is Empty, the 2011 mystery by Craig Johnson. Read our review of this excellent crime novel.)
