Mysterious Press released seventeen mysteries by Jane Haddam in new ebook formats earlier this week, thirteen in the Gregor Demarkian series and four in the Patience McKenna series.
Jane Haddam — born Orania Papazoglou — worked as a college professor and magazine editor before publishing her Edgar Award–nominated first novel, Sweet, Savage Death, in 1984, which introduced Patience McKenna, a former romance novelist who has turned to crime fiction. (All of these books were originally published as written by Orania Papazoglou.)
In 1990, Haddam introduced ex-FBI agent Gregor Demarkian in Not a Creature Was Stirring. Many of the subsequent titles have holiday themes associated with them. She continues to write books in this series, the 28th of which — Hearts of Sand — will be published later this year.
We're providing a list of all seventeen books newly released ebooks below, with a synopsis from the first in each of the represented series.
