Last November we reported that CBS was considering a third "NCIS" series. At the time we knew that the premise was centered on an ensemble cast of characters, mobile agents who live and work together solving crimes across the country.
Now we have a few more details about the potential series.
A two-part episode of NCIS: Los Angeles titled "Red" will serve as the pilot and Edwin Hodge — who had a guest role on the original NCIS in the episode "Namesake", which aired earlier this season — has been cast as Kai Ashe, a technology expert … and seemingly not unlike the character his younger brother Aldis Hodge played on Leverage. No air date has been set for the episode.
