TNT has ordered a pilot for Murder in the First, a murder mystery series created by Steven Bochco (Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue).
The storyline, set in the San Francisco area, is said to involve two seemingly unrelated murder investigations. If ordered to series, the episodes will follow two SFPD homicide detectives as they pursue leads in the cases, which may involve the CEO of a Silicon Valley technology company as a prime suspect. As the series unfolds, the investigations and prosecutions will "provide viewers with a window into the soul of modern justice in an increasingly complex world."
