Telemystery: Burn Notice Renewed for a 7th Season

Telemystery: Mystery and Suspense on Television

USA Network has renewed Burn Notice for a seventh season. The order of 13 episodes is smaller than in previous seasons, which numbered between 16 and 18 episodes each, though presumably we're not intended to read too much into that fact.

"Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age," said USA Network co-presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel. "Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio."

Jeffrey Donovan stars as Michael Westen, an international spy who suddenly finds himself blacklisted — "burned" in company-speak. Back in his hometown of Miami, Michael uses his skills to help people in need ... mostly people who can't get help from the police.

The seventh season will likely premiere in June 2013.
