Mysterious Press released the first fourteen titles in the "Inspector Porfiry Rostnikov" series by Stuart M. Kaminsky this week in ebook format.
Kaminsky — who died in 2009 — was the author of four series, featuring four very different characters.
Toby Peters is a gumshoe in 1940s Hollywood, featured in 24 books published between 1977 and 2004.
Inspector Rostnikov is a Moscow police inspector — and is the subject of the 14 books being released this week by Mysterious Press. (A total of 16 were written in this series.)
Abe Lieberman, featured in 10 books published between 1990 and 2007, is a Chicago police officer.
Finally, 6 mysteries with Florida process server Lew Fonesca were published between 1999 and 2009.
In addition, Kaminsky wrote two stand-alones, two "The Rockford Files" tie-in novels, and three "CSI: New York" tie-ins.
