Jason Blum (Lawless) and Scott Derrickson (Sinister) have optioned the Stephen King novella The Breathing Method for film. It is one of four novellas that were included in the 1982 collection Different Seasons — and, if produced, will the fourth of these to be adapted for film. The plot is ostensibly the tale of a doctor who goes to his club and recounts the story of a woman determined to give birth — no matter what … but, typical of most Stephen King stories, there's a twist. Deadline reports that Scott Teems will write the screenplay.
