Cinemax has scheduled its original drama series Banshee to premiere on January 11th, 2013.
Antony Starr stars as Lucas Hood, an ex-convict, master thief, and martial arts expert, who assumes the identity of the (murdered) sheriff of the Amish community of Banshee, PA, where he continues his criminal activities even as he's being hunted by the shadowy gangsters he had betrayed years earlier.
The teaser trailer below was released a couple of months ago by Cinemax. EW has a slightly longer, though no more informative, trailer on its site.
