Book Trends, a review site for young adult's and children's books, published several new book reviews this past week. We're presenting here a summary of those in the mystery/suspense/thriller category.

Island of Thieves by Josh Lacey. Lexile measure: 640L. Reviewed by a 6th grade student, who writes that this book "… has high octane action throughout the whole story … an awesome book that will hook you to the very last page." (Read the full review of middle school grade thriller here.)

Flirting in Italian by Lauren Henderson. Lexile measure: N/A. Reviewed by an 8th grade student, who writes, "I really loved [this book]! It was phenomenal! I would say that this book has a genre of mystery/romance. At times it creates suspense with romance at the same time." (Read the full review of this teen novel here.)
