Nominees for the 2012 Crime Thriller Awards Announced

Earlier today we posted the short lists for the Fall 2012 CWA Dagger Awards, the winners of which will be announced this coming October.

But there are actually going to be many more winners announced on that same evening, those of the Crime Thriller Awards.

For crime fiction fans — and if you're reading this, you're probably one of those — there is the Bestseller Dagger, where readers choose the winner. The nominees are …

• Anthony Horowitz
• Kathy Reichs
• Stuart MacBride
• Ann Cleeves

And then there is the fan vote for the best "Detective Duo of the Year". These are from television series, but most have been adapted from, or based on characters from, crime novels.
