Nominees for the 2012 Bloody Scotland Crime Novel of the Year Award Announced

Mystery, Suspense and Thriller Book Awards

The nominees (short list) for the inaugural 2012 Bloody Scotland Crime Novel of the Year Award have been announced by the festival organizers. The award recognizes and rewards excellence in Scottish crime writing, and is open to writers born in Scotland, living in Scotland, or whose books are set in Scotland.

The winner will be announced on Sunday September 16th, 2012 during Bloody Scotland.

The Lewis Man by Peter May (Quercus)
Gods & Beasts by Denise Mina (Orion)
