New Poster for Looper

Looper (2012)

A second US poster for the time-travel crime thriller Looper has been released (right; click for larger image). The tagline: "Hunted by your future. Haunted by your past."

Long time readers of Omnimystery News know that we are unapologetic fans of Bruce Willis. We'll watch anything he's in … at least once. And even if sometimes we don't get much past the opening credits, but we think he hits far more than he misses.

And some of you may know that our favorite episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation is "Time's Arrow", a two-part time travel episode. We've seen this episode dozens of times despite the fact that we really don't understand how time travel works. It's just a great story.

So we've been following Looper with considerable interest. Bruce Willis and time travel; what could go wrong? Everything we've read or seen about this film suggests "not much", and we're so looking forward to seeing it. The poster here is pretty good, too. (Whoever did the make-up on Joseph Gordon-Levitt not only deserves an Academy Award nomination, but the statue itself. It's incredible how much he is made to look like a younger Bruce Willis.)

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Looper opens in theaters September 28th. (We've previously posted both the US and international trailers for the film.)
