Trespasser by Paul Doiron

Trespasser by Paul Doiron. A Mike Bowditch Mystery. Minotaur Books Hardcover, June 2011.

The overall plot is nicely crafted, and the Maine setting during "mud season" adds an atmospheric backdrop to the narrative, but it is the strongly developed character of Mike Bowditch that lifts this crime novel into the top tier of murder mysteries published this summer.
