Presley Parker is a delightful event host, and this entertaining mystery captures the ins and outs of planning a séance (should one be so inclined to do so). But it is the venue of the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, and its architectural oddities that are cleverly incorporated into the plot, that really makes the story special.
