While attending a ribbon cutting at the new prison not far from the city, Mayor Lambert is killed by a sniper's bullet. The killer is identified -- Mr. Jones -- who becomes the first person to enter the prison ... but also the last, when it mysteriously burns to the ground.
You play journalist Michael Jennings, the new Crime Editor for the city's newspaper, who must investigate the circumstances behind the strange events at the prison and discover the truth behind the an ancient amulet being worn by the mayor at the time of his murder.
