A Wall Street Journal blog is reporting that the digital version of the latest thriller by Laura Lippman, I'd Know You Anywhere, is out-selling the hardcover. In its first five days of sales, 4739 ebooks were sold compared to 4000 physical books.
“This is the first book of ours of any consequence that has sold more e-books than hardcovers in the first week,” said Frank Albanese, a senior vice president at HarperCollins.
I'd Know You Anywhere is the author's fifth stand-alone thriller. She is also the author of 11 mysteries in the Tess Monaghan series.
