Two seasons of The Sweeney are being released this week.

The series is based on an elite team of Metropolitan Polices officers specializing in violent crime called the Flying Squad, and stars John Thaw as Detective Inspector Jack Regan and Dennis Waterman as Detective Sergeant George Carter, who lead a unit of skilled detectives who infiltrate and bust up London's criminal underworld.
