Miley Cyrus May Take Lead Role in Film Adaptation of Wake by Lisa McMann

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Miley Cyrus may star in the film adaptation of the young adult thriller Wake, the first book of a bestselling trilogy by Lisa McMann published in 2008. (The other two books are Fade and Gone.)

Christopher Landon (Blood and Chocolate, Disturbia) will write the screenplay for Paramount and MTV Studios, which have acquired the rights for all three books in the series.
