Warner Bros. has launched a new viral website for its upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie using only an IP address to identify it: 94.236.57.221.
It opens requesting a password, which is I-R-E-N-E (after Irene Adler, the only woman who ever impressed Sherlock Holmes). A short video follows, then the omninous statement "Do not underestimate the gravity of coming events" and a request for your e-mail address. (The Warner Bros. privacy policy is in tiny print at the bottom of the screen.)
That's all there is for now, but presumably games or puzzles will be presented in the future, and given this is Sherlock Holmes, maybe a mystery to solve. The film opens in theaters Christmas Day.
