A list of the top 15 mystery hardcover bestsellers for the week ending December 05, 2008 has been posted on the Hidden Staircase Mystery Books website.
James Patterson's latest Alex Cross thriller, Cross Country, remains the bestselling hardcover mystery this week but by a surprisingly small margin.
New this week and debuting in 6th position is the latest Kay Scarpetta novel by Patricia Cornwell, simply titled Scarpetta. Leaving behind her private forensic pathology practice in Charleston, South Carolina, Kay Scarpetta accepts an assignment in New York City, where the NYPD has asked her to examine an injured man on Bellevue Hospital’s psychiatric prison ward.
