Kids' CBC Renews Pre-School Series Busytown Mysteries for 2nd Season

AWN Headline News is reporting that Kids' CBC has renewed the preschool animated series Busytown Mysteries for a second season. The top-rated Canadian series, which does not seem to be yet available on US broadcast networks, is based on the classic works of Richard Scarry. The series features 6 characters (Huckle Cat, Lowly Worm, Sally Cat, Hilda Hippo, Pig Will and Pig Won't) who scour Busytown looking for the answer to each episode's mystery. They enjoy looking for fun and adventure and, with everyone driving their own unique vehicle, getting there is half the fun! Busytown Mysteries encourages young viewers to help solve life's little mysteries as they ask questions, find clues and discover answers all from their own unique kid point-of-view!

Hurray for Huckle: Zooming Around Busytown

Hurray for Huckle: Zooming Around Busytown, a DVD which we believe to be the first season of the series, is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.com. Why are all the Busytown cars blowing bubbles? Could there have been a mix-up at the gas pumps? And where has Lowly's Apple Car disappeared? And who took a bite out of the Mouse Family's Cheese Car? Huckle Cat and his friends have to solve one fun mystery after another in these laugh-filled episodes!
