Sue Grafton's 20th Kinsey Millhone mystery, T is for Trespass, debuts this week at number 5. This series began 25 years ago with the publication of A is for Alibi (first editions of which sell for thousands of dollars) and is still going strong. In this most recent book, Grafton alternates point-of-view between Kinsey and a chilling sociopath, Solana Rojas. Rojas is not her birth name. It is an identity she cunningly stole, an identity that gives her access to private caregiving jobs. The true horror of the novel builds with excruciating tension as the reader foresees the awfulness that lies ahead. The suspense lies in whether Millhone will realize what is happening in time to intervene.
