The mystery adventures of Bailey Fish are for readers ages 8 to 11. Bailey is an 11 year old girl who lives with her grandmother in central Virginia. Each book in the series (4 to date) features embedded history, lots of action and contemporary issues that appeal to boys and girls. Linda Salisbury, the series author, is a former newspaper columnist and editor. The first book in the series, The Wild women of Lake Anna, was a finalist for the ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year. Wayne Madsen's first children's mystery in the Misadventures of Inspector Moustachio series, The Case of Stolen Time, was selected for the Reading is Fundamental 2007 Summer Reading Booklist.
