This is one of those movies that probably won't meet your expectations, whatever they may be. I went in not expecting much, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It's not a great film, but it does have a polished look to it that shines over the really quite pedestrian script.

After all, John is part-machine now, and Dorian is part-human. John and Dorian's understanding of each other not only complements them, it connects them.
