Telemystery: Relativity To Develop Television Drama Based on its Film Limitless

Relativity Media is developing a television drama based on its 2011 film Limitless. Bradley Cooper, who starred in the film, will co-executive produce.

"Limitless is the perfect example of Relativity's multiplatform approach to creating quality content," said Ryan Kavanaugh, CEO of Relativity.

In the film — you can read our review, here — Cooper plays a struggling writer, who goes from a nobody to a somebody after consuming a drug that allows him to access every part of his brain. It doesn't necessarily make him smarter, but he can instantaneously take advantage of everything he has seen, heard, or learned.

"The film has an organic natural extension into a compelling and sophisticated one-hour drama that is both a thrill-ride and a social commentary," added Marc Rosen of Georgeville Television, which is co-producing the project.

Acorn TV debuts new seasons of two Telemystery series today: Vera Season 3 andAbove Suspicion Season 3.

Launched in July 2011, Acorn TV is accessible on the streaming player Roku as well as on computers, and through the browsers on iPhones and iPads. It is also available on many other portable devices.
