This has got to be one of the worst films I have ever seen. Indeed, there is so little to like about this film that I can hardly think of any element or aspect to it that is worthy of even faint praise. Too much talking, too little story, and no subtlety whatsoever in taking a decent crime novel and morphing it into a barely watchable political parable.

Tying together all these seemingly disparate threads of crime is a maniacal killer named Max Coll, a brutal, brilliant, and deeply haunted hit man sent to New Orleans to finish the job on Father Dolan.
