New Teaser Trailer for Da Vinci's Demons

A new teaser trailer — this one with (apparently) actual footage from the series) — for the original Starz drama Da Vinci's Demons has been released by the network (embedded below).

The cross-genre fantasy / speculative history / mystery drama stars Tom Riley as the young Leonardo da Vinci, whose "untold" (hi)story will unfold during the series' season. "In a world where thought and faith are controlled, [he] fights to set knowledge free. The tortured genius defies authority and hurls himself into the future, forever changing the fate of mankind."

Though no specific premiere date has been set, Da Vinci's Demons, a co-production with BBC Worldwide, is set to air in Spring 2013.
