A Behind-the-Scenes Look at A&E's New Crime Drama The Glades

The Glades (A&E TV)

A&E has released a behind-the-scenes preview for its upcoming crime series The Glades, set to premiere this summer on July 13th. A trailer for the series was previously released.

Previously titled Sugarloaf and filmed on location in Florida, The Glades stars Matt Passmore as Jim Longworth, an attractive, brilliant, yet hard to get along with homicide detective from Chicago who is forced into exile after being wrongfully accused of sleeping with his former captain’s wife. Longworth relocates to the sleepy, middle-of-nowhere town of Palm Glade, Florida, where the sunshine and golf are plentiful and crime is seemingly at a minimum. Yet life in this sleepy town is not as beautiful as it may seem, and though the skies in his new town are always sunny … there's also a chance of homicide.
