The film opens in theaters on March 23rd, 2012. "The world will be watching."

Publisher: Revell/Running Girl Productions

This first mystery in this series introduces FBI Agent and forensic geologist Raleigh Harmon.

About The Stones Cry Out (from the publisher): During a rally in the searing heat of a Virginia summer, two men plummet from a building into the crowd below. The victims are a white police officer and a young black man with a troubled past. And though hundreds of people stood at the scene, nobody saw what happened. Or are they just not talking?

FBI agent Raleigh Harmon, one of Richmond's own, has to solve the case — and fast. The Bureau wants a quick verdict, with or without the truth. But with tight-lipped witnesses, Raleigh must rely on her instincts and her training in forensic geology to uncover the facts. Working her connections with the city's powerful families and its seedy underbelly, Raleigh is determined to see justice prevail. Will she solve the case before the growing racial unrest rages out of control? Or will her choices ultimately bring down everyone involved — including Raleigh herself?

This is the first stand-alone thriller from the author of the Faye Longchamp mysteries.

About Wounded Earth (from the publisher): Larabeth McLeod has beauty, money, several patents, a Ph.D., a successful environmental firm, and some very old secrets. When a man with the uncomfortable name of Babykiller begins stalking her, terrorizing her with stories of her darkest days in Vietnam, stories no one else knows, she feels compelled to fight back … until he exposes her most tender secret of all by threatening the daughter she has never met.

She turns to private detective J. D. Hatten for help, breaking five years of separation and silence between quarreling friends. And then Babykiller shows his true capabilities. He is the head of an illicit business offering but one service — moving cargo worldwide for criminals who need their drugs or cash or smuggled goods shipped safely and anonymously — so he is capable of putting anything anywhere. He quietly explains to Larabeth, a well-known environmental executive, that he can even put defective gauges in nuclear power plants, and he will, just to get her attention. If she goes to the police for protection, people will die. Lots and lots of people will die. And one of them will be her daughter.

Larabeth and J. D. are just a normal man and woman, up against a babykiller. But then, Babykiller doesn't know who he's dealing with …

This first in a series, written by a former crime reporter for the Los Angeles Times, introduces LAPD homicide detective Ash Levine. The next book in the series, Midnight Alley, is expected to be published this spring.

About Kind of Blue (from the publisher): When a legendary ex-cop is mudered in L.A, the pressure's on to find the killer. Lt. Frank Duffy needs his best detective on the case, but his best detective, Ash Levine, quit a year ago. Without his job, Ash is left unanchored — and consumed with guilt that he somehow caused Latisha's murder.

When he's asked to rejoin the force, Ash reluctantly agrees. Getting his badge back could give him the chance to find Latisha's killer. Ash dives headfirst into the shadowlands of Southern California to investigate the ex-cop's murder. But even when he has a suspect in custody, something about this case doesn't sit right with Ash, and he continues working the increasingly dangerous investigation while quietly chasing leads in Latisha's murder. Unable to let either case go, Ash finds that his obsessive nature might prove fatal.
