Telemystery: BBC One Cancels Ripper Street After Two Seasons

Telemystery Prime Time Crime: Mystery and Suspense on Television

BBC One has canceled Ripper Street after two seasons.

"We are very proud of Ripper Street which has enjoyed two highly ambitious series on BBC One," said the network in a statement. "However, the second series didn't bring the audience we hoped and in order to make room for creative renewal and new ideas it won't be returning."

A co-production with BBC America, the second season has yet to air here in the US.
