ITV has ordered a second season of Endeavour, the prequel series to the long-running Inspector Morse. Shaun Evans stars as the young Endeavour Morse, a character created by crime novelis Colin Dexter, who will continue as a consultant to the series.
The second season will consist of four two-hour episodes and will go into production on location in Oxford later this year.
