CBC has announced the renewal of 21 series for the 2013/2014 television season, including several crime dramas.
• An expanded (18 episodes) seventh season of Murdoch Mysteries, based on a character created by Maureen Jennings.
• An expanded (16 episodes) fifth season of Republic of Doyle.
• A second season of Cracked, the first season of which was just acquired by ReelzChannel to air in the US.
