The seventh season of Psych has yet to begin — it premieres on February 27th, 2013 — and now USA Network has renewed the series for an eighth season (via the show's official Twitter feed).
The series stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, who, with his keen eye for detail, convinces the police that he has psychic abilities and can assist them in solving crimes. His best friend — and often reluctant partner in the con — is Burton "Gus" Guster, played by Dulé Hill.
